And no, I am not talking about the paid Udemy course available on that platform since 2018. I did take that course myself over two years back to understand what made it so popular among the students. Why did you name your article with that title?

Fair enough, I did. But not to take away the glory that course has duly received and earned. I appreciate the course creator for thinking about it that early and providing value to youngsters like yourself. Today there are so many courses out there in Digital Marketing. Every other person claims to be a digital guru. Most of them are out there to loot you and give you nothing in return, no value, no transfer of skill or knowledge. Then some institutions charge you in lakhs to impart the same information that I would do, for FREE! Please have a look at one of my lessons below.

The only reason why I entered into teaching and creating courses is to see every youngster in the sales and marketing field excel beyond imagination. I am specifically talking about this discipline because it is my core domain.

My humble request to you is to avoid paid Digital Marketing courses online. These curses will not help you at all. You might go to the best institutes or even go abroad to study the discipline, but without hands-on practice, everything is a big ZERO (Sorry for being direct). Also, the older courses are obsolete and may not be relevant in 2021. It’s like looking at an old INR to USD exchange rate and hoping to get the best deal!

These Digital gurus will send you emails or create ads to reach you on Facebook or Google to entice you with fancy lines like “want to learn Digital Marketing? I will teach you blah blah blah. As a special and one time offer, I am giving you this course away for INR 40,000 only” Result? You will be INR 40k poorer and, they will mint money!

What about Assessment & Certificates?

Students have reached out to me about giving an assessment and gaining a certified credential. It is one of the most frequently asked questions. I have not prepared any quizzes as I am still building on new lessons each week. The priority is to impart valuable knowledge to you first.
