Are you ready to adjust your music?

It is time. 🕒 As we near the end of an inexplicable lock-down era and begin to slowly dial life, let us be reminded that the music 🎶 we used to compose earlier, might not be a thing anymore. You were a great music composer and you rocked it, bringing in name & fame. ☺ That was 2020 BC (Before Corona) However those melodies might now be out of date. You might suddenly find yourself irrelevant & depleted. What would you do in this situation? 🤔 Would you keep making the same music? Would the audience dance 🕺 to it? Luckily there’s always hope.

There’s always a solution. 👏🏼 Here are 3️⃣ ways to adjust & align to be relevant

  • Focus on your core strengths: 🐝

Everyone has that one go-to-market set of strengths. If you know them, you are in luck. Time to use that nitro boost. If you don’t, like a majority of us, no worry. Quickly identify something that moves you inside out, something that makes you happy and comes easy to you. Core strengths = (ease + happiness) x passion 🔥

  • Build on something new: 🤺

Could be a new skill, new endeavor or something that fills your days in return for income/learning/experience. This will be difficult, uncomfortable, demotivating in the beginning but in the long term will reap rewards for you. In short Innovate. Innovation = idea 💡 generation + consideration + testing 🆕

  • Realign yourself to the new audience:

Be ready to challenge yourself in everything you did. Paradigms have shifted. What was acceptable earlier, isn’t anymore. What wasn’t, is. Constantly fine tune yourself till you get the right music for the new audience. But more importantly, for you. Realign = (values x beliefs x principals) /(who + what + when + where + why) ✈
